Assume responsibility
If we’re going to live up entirely to our claim as the generation that set the world ablaze, we have to get over one of our biggest obstacles, assuming responsibility as an entire social unit.
We should learn to stop blaming all the problems on an immediate “them”. It’s the people’s collective that facilitates any kind of social environment that causes the “them” to spring up.
-All Americans are responsible for their massive debt
-All the British are responsible for the riots
-All the Israelis are responsible for the settler crimes
-All Muslims are responsible for anyone committing crimes in their name
-All Arabs are responsible for the despotic rule on them
It’s when you stop blaming your problems on a class, a generation, or a quaintly definable group, that you work on solving them.
